At Coastal Sunbelt Produce, our primary goal is to lead the industry in safety & compliance, achieved through our commitment to food safety, quality, and food defense.

Safe Quality Food (SQF) Certification – This rigorous food safety management system is recognized by the Global Food Safety Initiative; this program is the only of its kind to integrate a quality component in addition to its food safety base.

Coastal Sunbelt’s food safety and food quality systems excel expectations by not only meeting all requirements, but by consecutively achieving and maintaining a Level 3 SQF certification.

Coastal Sunbelt Produce is also Organic Certified.

We are certified by the Maryland Department of Agriculture, and are permitted to operate as Certified Organic under the USDA National Organic Program.

In addition to our certifications, we maintain traceability on all products. We perform mock recalls twice a year to ensure the integrity of our recall program.
