Vegetables

 
Asparagus— Prices are higher. Product is coming from Peru and Mexico.

Broccoli– Prices are steady on bunches and on crowns with good quality.

Cauliflower– Prices are higher and quality is good.

Corn—Prices are higher with good quality. Supplies are improved. Bi-color and Red corn are available.

Cucumbers-Prices are steady with good quality.

Eggplant–Prices are steady and quality is good.

Yellow / Green Squash–Green and yellow squash prices are steady.

Peppers— Green and Yellow and Red Pepper prices are steady.

Onions– Red and yellow onion prices are higher.

Potatoes— Idaho potato prices are rising. Reds potatoes are coming from Minnesota, Alabama, and Delaware with steady prices. Yukon gold potatoes are steady and coming from Delaware. Chef potatoes are from Minnesota, Canada, and Delaware and prices are steady.

Tomatoes

Tomatoes– Tomatoes are coming from Virginia, Mexico, and Tennessee. Quality is good and prices are stable.

Grape Tomatoes – Higher Prices. Good Quality.

Cherry tomatoes – Higher Prices. Good Quality.

6x6, 6x7, 5x6 – Stable Prices. Quality is Good.

Beefsteaks – Steady Prices. Quality is good.

Plum tomatoes – Stable Prices. Quality is good.

Yellow Tomatoes – Stable Prices. Quality is good.

Green Tomatoes—Stable Prices. Quality is good.

Lettuce

Iceberg— Prices are steady with good quality.

Red and Green Leaf — Prices are lower on Green leaf and Red leaf. Quality is good.

Romaine — Romaine markets are currently rising as local product suffers and are still arriving with good quality.

Berries

Strawberries– Quality is good and prices are higher on California product.

Blueberries— Quality is good and prices are steady. Product is coming from Michigan.

Blackberries— Prices are steady and quality is good. Supplies are good.

Raspberries— Prices are rising with good quality.

Fruit

Avocados— Prices are higher on all types as production is slower. Quality is very good.

Grapes— Prices are higher and quality is good on red and white. Product is now coming from California.

Lemons - Lemons are coming from California. Markets will remain strong throughout the summer. Fruit is running very well.

Limes– Prices are steady and quality is good.

Oranges— California Valencia’s are in stock.

Stone fruit - Cherries are currently from Washington, while Plums and Apricots are available from California. Peaches and Nectarines are coming from Delaware and Virginia.

Pineapples - Prices are steady and quality remains inconsistent.

Watermelon— Prices are steady with good quality. Seeded watermelons are available. We now have Yellow Watermelon in stock.  Ask about orange watermelon.

Cantaloupe/Honeydew— Cantaloupe and honeydew prices are steady. Product is now coming from California.
